Peace Valley Recreation Access Points Study – You can get involved!

Are you interested in the future of and management of recreation and tourism on the Peace River? If so, read on!

The Peace Valley Conservation, Recreation and Tourism Society (PVCRTS) has contracted RC Strategies+PERC to lead the development of the Peace River Recreation and Tourism Access Study. The study is looking at the section of river from the Alberta and British Columbia border to the Town of Peace River. Developed through meaningful engagement with members of the public and stakeholders, the study will identify strategies and actions that should be taken in order to enhance the recreation quality and tourism potential of the river.  The study will form the strategic focus and priorities of the PVCRTS for the next ten years.

Please take a moment to help inform the study through the online mapping tool at Participation is easy! Simply scroll and zoom into an area of the river that you are interested in and drag and drop the appropriate pin and leave a comment. You can view other people’s comments by clicking on them. You can then “like” or “dislike” the suggestion or leave a further comment in response.

Please note that the input period will end on October 13, 2019 at 4:30 pm.
