ALBERTA RECYCLING – ELECTRONICS EXPANSION PILOT PROJECT

ALBERTA RECYCLING – ELECTRONICS EXPANSION PILOT PROJECT

The Alberta Government has officially kick-started the electronics expanded recycling project. This will support job creation, grow the economy and help municipalities divert more reusable materials from landfills.  Items that will be accepted include small appliances, audio visual equipment, telecom equipment, power and air tools, games, toys and music.

Did you know: ARMA has recycled 125 million tires since 1992, 1.8 billion liters of used oil since 1997, 26.9 million litres of pain since 2008 and most recently hit the 10 million milestone for recycled electronics in Alberta.

For more information  and fun facts please visit the Alberta Recycling website: https://armaepilot.com/collection-sites/

The MD collection site is at the Griffin Creek landfill, there are signs up in its own dedicated area across from the TV recycling.
