AND 2022 PROPERTY TAX LEVY

Notice is hereby given that the property taxes for the 2022 taxation year have been levied to your property. Combined Assessment and Tax Notices were mailed by April 26, 2022. Please note that notices were mailed to property owners as registered at Alberta Land Titles Office as of April 15, 2022. If you became an owner after that date, it is your responsibility to obtain a copy of the Combined Assessment and Tax Notice. Copies may be obtained by contacting the Municipal Office. Property tax payments are due on June 30, 2022.

If consultation with the assessor does not resolve your concern, complaints against assessment must be submitted to the Assessment Review Board Clerk at the MD of Peace No. 135, Box 34, Berwyn, Alberta T0H 0E0 by July 8, 2022. An Assessment Review Board Complaint Form must be completed for a complaint to be valid. These forms are available at the Municipal District of Peace No. 135 office in Berwyn.
